March 19: A day of Activities
Mini Israel, Yad Lashiryon, The Dead Sea
I started off the day going to Mini Israel. Mini Israel is a miniature park located near Latrun, in the Ayalon Valley. The site contains miniature replicas of hundreds of buildings and landmarks in Israel. In one hour I saw Haifa, Tiberius, the Golan, the Negev, Jerusalem, Tel Aviv, Eilat and over 350 large models of notable models. Next, I went to Yad Lashiryon. Yad Lashiryon is Israel's official memorial site for fallen soldiers from the armed corps, as well as one of the most diverse tank museums in the world. I saw tanks that were used in different wars during the history of Israel, tanks captured during these wars, as well as the first tank created by Israel. Then to relax I went to the Dead Sea. Instead of going to the luxurious hotel areas I went to the coast of the dead sea where I can pick up the natural mud from the water. I was able to get the natural mud as well as see and touch the natural salt as well as going into natural springs surrounding the area.
